How To Install WordPress

So Finally you are ready to start with WordPress. Well, I can suggest, you are on the right path.
before you start, you should first ask yourself, is this the right platform for your needs.
WordPress installation is much easy than any other platform. before I start, let us know what is WordPress and why we use it.

What is WordPress:

WordPress, in simple words, is a "Content Management System" (CMS). a CMS is nothing but a "website container" which means it contains your website's Data, Theme, Images and all.
also, WordPress is the most popular platform on the planet. most of the websites and blogs use WordPress CMS.

Wordpress Installation:

  1. Download and Install Wamp Server: Before installing WordPress you must install WAMP Server on your local machine.
to download WAMP server visit "http://www.wampserver.com/en/" and download the latest version of WAMP Server.

Install the Wamp Server on your local machine by double-clicking the setup file.
if asking for installation folder path, just install in "C:/ Driver" directly.

2. Download Wordpress.org: Visit https://wordpress.org/   to download the latest version of Wordpress.
after downloading you will get a ZIP file. extract the ZIP file to WAMP Server Root folder "C:\wamp64\www".

3. Visit Wordpress Localhost in Web Browser: Start the WAMP server, an icon on the right bottom corner of the desktop will appear.
left click on the icon, and click on the localhost. you will be directed to the localhost. now you have to type the "your-website-path" after the localhost, like "localhost/my-site-name".

by typing the above-mentioned path, you will be forwarded to the above-shown screen.
choose the language and click on "Continue".
4. Wordpress setup configuration: after the above process, the Wordpress setup configuration window will appear.
WordPress configuration window requires you to first create the MySQL Database.
Visit: "localhost/phpmyadmin" .

Login with UserName: root and password and " " (Blank).
5. Create MySql Database: in PhpMyAdmin window, click on "Databases" and add a new database. give a name to the database.

6: Setup Configuration wizard: after creating the database, fill up the WordPress setup configuration details.

7: Last Installation Step: you are finally at the last step, after filling up the configuration wizard.
now you are just to click on the run install button. as seen in the image below.

Congratulations! you are the winner.
now you can start with your first WordPress platform, and start creating websites and blogs.
